Severnaya Samoyeds were established when a cute, white, fluffy young pup became part of my family. Her name was Scionastir Scarlett and she was to become the foundation bitch of my kennel. Her daughter, Severnaya Samantha, won many awards and would possibly have won even more if she hadn't been held back by her handler, me! Samantha's daughter, Severnaya Indigo Violet, was not to be a show dog but she excelled in therapy work, being my protector and being the love of my life. Her intelligence astounded me and she has shown me there is no doubt that females are smarter than males. She lef this world on 14 November 2009 at the grand old age of 14 yrs. Next we come to Mozart. Now here is a dog who started life by making his presence heard and ha not quitened down since. His purpose in life is to collect the Sunday newspaper for me, pick up the pegs I (accidently) drop when hanging up the washing and being my forward alarm system when someone enters the property. Apparently, he finally understands the English language and when I give a command, if food is involved, has decided that command should be obeyed. He will be 11 yrs old on 20th January 2010.
